I've been forced into studying the New Age thing again in order to keep up with some correspondence from a relative. The reality of spiritual experience of people involved in the various branches of New Age philiosophy is stunning! The lack of spiritual experience in the Christian realm is equally stunning. How can we compete in this arena? What is the point of spiritual experience?
I'm reading two books: Living Magically: A New Vision of Reality, by Gill Edwards and Inside the New Age Nightmare, by Randall Baer. The first was recommended by my relative, and the second by a Christian who has studied and experienced New Age philosophies. Hopefully I'll be able to see it from both viewpoints.
