Some thoughts following a discussion last night about spitituality:

Is it possible that some knowledge of loss/pain/grief is essential to spirituality?
Why did God make Man? Does this indicate some insufficiency in the Trinity? Is that insufficiency related to loss/pain etc. and is that why Man became essential to God, a spiritual being?
All sorts of things flow from the answers to those questions. Anyone got any thoughts?
